Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic and public health restrictions there will not be an in-person event this May.

The VIRTUAL Bean There Ran That event will take place for the second year in a row - participants are welcome to run or walk any distance they choose, from anywhere in the world they happen to be, May 1st thru May 10th, 2021 - simply register as a virtual runner for a flat rate of $30 which includes a race shirt. A Charity Race for Kidney Care

There’s a distance for everyone at the Yarmouth Marathon. Whether you’re running your first 5K or you’re shooting to qualify for the Boston Marathon, you’ll be in good company.

Race Details

Register today for your preferred distance. You can register online at Race Roster, by snail mail, or in person at Runner’s Attic in Yarmouth. Race kit included in registration fee if registered by May 1, 2020. To receive a technical shirt you must register by April 1, 2020.

About the Yarmouth Marathon

Run one of Nova Scotia’s most scenic marathon routes and help us raise money for kidney care. The 10th annual “Bean There, Ran That” Yarmouth Marathon will take place on May 3, 2020, with proceeds going to the Yarmouth Hospital Renal Dialysis Unit. To date the event has generated more than $43,000 to support dialysis patients and their families in Southwest Nova Scotia. The full marathon is a Boston qualifier, so it’s great for competitive athletes and casual runners alike.
